The vision of St Drostan’s is to be Grounded in Love, Rooted in Christ and Led by The Spirit. Reflecting how God is made known to us as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe these are three essential characteristics of a healthy church that can enable us to be more the church God wants us to be and help life flourish in Insch.
Grounded in Love
Being grounded in love means knowing and experiencing God’s great love for us. Then allowing that experience of God’s love to enable us to grow in our love for God, our love for one another and our love for our neighbours. We want to be a church that is a community of love.

Rooted in Christ
Being rooted in Christ means learning to live our lives really believing in and trusting Jesus Christ.
This means learning together to put into practice the way of life that Jesus teaches us and therefore our lives and relationship being a witness to Jesus.
“Continue to live your lives in Jesus Christ, rooted and built up in him.”
Colossians 2:6-7
Led by The Spirit
Being led by the Spirit is about learning to live lovingly and freely as disciples of Jesus and children of God. Allowing and seeking the Holy Spirit to change us from the inside and teach us how to live a life of love, like Jesus lived and wants us to live.
